I'm hoping someone can put my mind at ease on this one!

Just played a free-for-all map on Rundown, eight players. One player - "[SoUP]Razz", I think - managed to get 9 kills for zero deaths in the first two minutes, meanwhile nobody else had so much as a single kill. Next second, he has a harrier up, an AC130, and an attack helicopter. I left the game before I got killed.

Is this even possible? I saw a walk-through on PSU forums of a care package glitch that would allow repeat care packages if the right button combo was used, so I dunno if that was what was happening here.

The previous map, a player called "beeferbrindle" had a load of air support going on, and managed to use a tactical nuke, getting 32 kills for 3 deaths - on Terminal. I have never seen anyone with a KDR like that on Terminal, the map's like friggin' Hamburger Hill!

So, I was kind of hoping that hacks weren't really around on PSN, seeing as it's just a sealed console... on PC servers they run (or at least they used to) PunkBuster on servers to ban players running hacks and scripts.

Are these guys just insanely awesome (beeferbrindle was rank 29), or were they cheating?

well yh its very possible to go 9-0 in 2mins
esp on rust, cos u can see evryone early

was beef using care package glitch, or maybe emergency airdrop, where 4 drop at one time
and 32-3 is very possible

Oh yeah, it wasn't just the scores that bothered me - it was the fact that he had 9 for 0, and everyone was 0 for 0, apart from a couple who were 0 for 4 and 0 for 5 respectively... and then he got all three killstreak rewards in the air at the same time, all without anyone else getting a single kill between them!

Not to worry, joined a different game and owned it for three rounds. Probably someone somewhere posting in a forum to ask if they think I was hacking, lol

Okay, here's the deal:

Main hacks for mw2 were used to get to max level and keep killstreaks after prestige - that's as far as that goes.

You free-for-all problem: everyone, but you of course, agreed to help boost the player you mentioned- meaning that he owns, gets xp, titles, etc.

your care package dilemma: it's actually an exploit people use because they suck at getting the actual killstreaks, i don't know why infinity ward hasn't done something

one of three things:

Care package glitch (i'm not gonna tell you how to do it as i don't like cheating)
Knew the other two and just killed them repeatedly
The other 2 were very unlucky

Apparently the latest patch has released some unlimited ammo and God mode hacks for people to exploit.
This was only on 360 though, haven't heard about it on ps3.

Just sounds to me that he was pretty good. Though 0-0 after 2 mins on Rust? I cant go 10 secs on that without killing/dying lol

I met a guy like that, three matches in a row, tatical nuke while everyone else had barely done much. I watched him play later and he was really just very good at keeping himself alive till he got his choppergunner and from there, he told me it was easy cos I chatted with him after lol

was worried there would be aimbot hacks and stuff because my friend plays on pc and he says theres all sorts of hacks.

hacks on ps3 are rare becuase of its inhackability. Only major one I can think of is the ufo one on cod4.

man those few weeks were hell. and the people hiding in random stuff made HQ really annoying to play, when someone was hiding inside the dam box!
